Atherton Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course at 700m elevation on the western edge of Atherton, 75km from Cairns. The layout features elevated greens, dog-leg holes, and bunkers threading through tall gum trees, with a licensed bar and motorised cart hire available. Founded in 1925 and expanded to 18 holes in 2001, the course plays year-round with best conditions from April to September.
