Royal Park Golf Course is a nine-hole public golf course in Parkville, just north of Melbourne's CBD between Carlton and Brunswick, owned by the City of Melbourne and managed by GreenSpace Management in partnership with YMCA Victoria. Established in 1903, it is noted as the only golf course in the world with both a tram line and train line running through it, and is where five-time British Open champion Peter Thomson learned to play as a junior. The course provides a golf shop, golf tuition, cart, club and buggy hire, and a practice putting and short game area.
